Dress Code

If you do not choose to purchase uniforms through French Toast, please make sure that your child’s uniforms follows the dress code listed below. For better quality, at a higher expense, you may also order from Lands End. 
 

GIRLS

Shorts: Bermuda or Chino Shorts – Navy or Khaki; Pleated or Plain Front Shorts – Navy or Khaki

Blouses: Oxford or Pinpoint Blouse – White Polo shirts – Navy, Red or White. All blouses or shirts must be tucked into pants or skirts, etc.At least one navy polo with monogram is required.

Skirts/Skorts/Dresses - Knee-length skorts/skirts (pleated or plain front), short/long sleeved Polo Dress – Khaki, Navy or Classic Navy Large Plaid

Pants: Flat Front or Pleated– Navy or Khaki; Pleated Pant – Navy or Khaki No Capri or cropped pants.

Sweaters/Sweatshirts: Anything solid white, navy or red.

Shoes: Solid Brown or black shoes only: loafers, Mary Janes, or Mocs.  Sneakers may be worn for PE only. No sandals.

 

BOYS

Shorts: Flat Front or Pleated – Navy or Khaki; No cargo shorts please.

Shirts: Oxford – White , Polo Shirts – red, navy or white At least one navy polo with monogram required.  Shirts must be tucked in with a belt. 

Pants:  Navy or Khaki  Pants must be in good repair with no holes.

Outerwear: Anything solid navy or red

Shoes: Solid Brown or black shoes loafers, tie-shoes, or Mocs.  Shoes must be worn with socks. No sandals

Clarifications:

1. Skirts, skorts, and shorts must not be shorter than one student’s hand width (measured across the palm), above the knee. Modest shorts (like the Skirty www.amoretti-designs.com/skirtyatschool.html) are to be worn under all skirts.

2. All shirts, blouses, and pants must be solid colors. This excludes stripes, flowers, decorative patches, off-color collars, etc.

3. Cargo pants and shorts do not fall under the categories of slacks and dress shorts.
 
4. Denim is not part of the dress code.
 
5. Turtlenecks may not be worn alone, only be worn under oxfords or polos.
 
6. Dyed or bleached hair will not be allowed for boys or girls.
 
7. Sport coats and ties are welcome.
 

8. No piercings, earrings, or necklaces for boys.
