Headmaster: Perry Coghlan

Rev. Perry Coghlan serves as the Headmaster of our elementary school.  In 2004, the vision of Rev. Coghlan came to fruition with the birth of Spring Hill Academy, located in Spring Hill TN.  Education is not a stranger to Rev. Coghlan in the least bit with a BS from Wesley in Jackson, Miss and is studying for his masters and doctorate from Whitefield Theological in Lakeland, FL.  His dedication to the school is shadowed only by his devotion to his family.  On May 14 he will celebrate 40 years of marriage to his wife Patsy Coghlan who serves as the Director of Spring Hill Academy Preschool.  Together they have 6 kids, 13 grand-kids, 2 cats and their beloved pet rock. 
                                                  
Principal-First Grade Teacher:  Abigail Bennett

Abigail Bennett serves as our Elementary Principal and First Grade Teacher.  She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Early Elementary Ed from Patriot University and has trained at New St. Andrews College in Moscow, ID and Veritas Academy in Lancaster, PA.  She has also worked as a private educational consultant, teacher trainer, and in-service speaker.  Abigail has ten years experience teaching in Christian schools, seven of them being in the classical realm.  She resides in Franklin, TN and worships at Holy Cross.  Abigail was born and bred in Northwestern Illinois.  She is an avid reader and also enjoys exercising and trying out the newest health kick.



Kindergarten Teacher: Veronica Whitlow

Veronica graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education.  With that, she has received her K-8 certification in teaching.  She started teaching kindergarten in Metro Nashville.  Veronica has been married to her husband Brooks for 5 years.  They both live in Spring Hill with their cat Gracie.



 

Second Grade Teacher: Danielle Adler
Mrs. Adler holds a degree in Interpersonal Communication and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.  She began her career in higher education working as an educational adviser at Valencia Community College in Orlando, Fl.  She has served at Spring Hill Academy since April of 2008.  Her husband Chris and their two children Katie (6) and Nathan (4) are members ofChrist United Methodist Church in Franklin.  She enjoys working in her garden, watching movies and reading a great book.


Third Grade Teacher: Courtenay Jones



Mrs. Jones earned her degree in Child Development and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Jose State University in California. There she taught 5th grade and served as a literacy specialist.  She and her husband of eleven years, Steve, moved to Spring Hill in 2007. They have two children, Quinn (7) and Decker (3). They are members of Thompson Station Church.  As a family they enjoy watching and participating in a variety of sports and games.


Bible and Physical Education:  Adam Parrott
I was born and raised in Chattanooga,TN. I was raised in a Christian home and my mother led me to the Lord at the age of nine. I accepted the call into the ministry while I was in the 11th grade in high school. After high school, I attended and graduated from Covington Theological Seminary with my degree in Christian Education. Soon after my college graduation in 2000, I married my wife of eight years, Lisa Parrott. The Lord blessed us in 2005 with a beautiful daughter named Krystin Ruth. The Lord has allowed myself to serve in three different Christian Schools and two different churches over a 13 year period. I have had the great privilege of serving as a high school Bible teacher, basketball coach, athletic director and a youth pastor. Praise God for His will in my life and His grace. 

 

Music and Choir: Dave Wilson

Mr. Wilson attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Music Education and Piano Performance.  He is currently the assistant 1st Grade teacher and webmaster at Spring Hill Academy.  David is married to his beautiful wife Jaime Wilson.  He loves spending time with his three children Elizabeth (5), Elijah (3.4), and Emily (.6) tinkering with computers, graphic design and playing the piano.
Art TeacherKendra Shoap


Kendra Shoap holds a degree in Cosmetology and enjoys helping people feel beautiful through the art of beauty, color and design. She has been married to William Shoap for 11 yrs and they have two wonderful children, Caden (8) and Kennedy (6 1/2).  Kendra enjoys canoeing and vacationing with the family as well as spending time researching the Hebraic Roots of Christianity. She resides in Spring Hill where she servesas the Art Teacher at Spring Hill Academy.
